What is the color of Zaadz?

Posted on May 3rd, 2007 by Duri : Evolutionary Mentor Duri
I am curious of what those Zaadz Wizards and users, who are familiar with Spiral Dynamics, think about the color of the Zaadz enteprise. Is it Green or Yellow or Turquoise, or neither, or all of the above? (If this is already discussed somewhere else, please point to it.)

cool question. as unbiased as i can, here's my opinion.

(note: in this instance i'm using the SD color terminology as used by Chris Cowan because i find it more descriptive of transitions between colors, e.g. entering, nodal and exiting.)

looking at Zaadz' mission we'll see that the main goal is changing the world by *being the change*. this is a characteristic of the ”The First Being Level” which corresponds to the color Yellow, or Systematic Existential State, described as “Express self for what self desires but never at the expense of others, and in a manner that all life, not just my life, will profit.”

now how does Zaadz plan to accomplish its mission? the plan “involves Conscious Capitalism infused with Spirituality” and “building THE most inspired community of people in the world.” the aim of Zaadz is to effect change through affiliation and collaboration, and  be self-sustaining (sustainable and profitable) at the same time. this is a characteristic of ”The Sixth Subsistence Level” which corresponds to the color Green, or Relativistic Existential State, described as “Affiliation / sustainability / collaboration / teamwork / fulfillment / sharing”

so my overall evaluation is, Zaadz is a GREEN / YELLOW enterprise (at this time).

translation: as an enterprise Zaadz employs a conscious and sustainable business model in which the aim is to effect change in individuals and communities so that they can ”Live fully and responsibly as what they are and learn to become.” – not just Yellow and beyond, but also sideways, and up and down the spiral.

how about you George, what do you think? would love to hear your thoughts.

thanks for asking.

P.S.  since i've used the Cowan method, i intentionally downplayed the use of *tiers*, because Cowan dislikes tierism :)

I think I have to wait and see how they respond to your offer of conversation about moving zaadz to support the emergence of more collective intelligence in this delightful space. It's something I'm still missing. Without it I smell lots of nice green grass but no mushroom fields.

At his moment the color game isnt very much productive for me. And Don himself confesses that a much much more complex labeling has to be exercized.

Having set this CAVEAT I see value for example in Patricia Aburdenes book “Megatrends.” and other comparable publications. Dynamic working and integrating spiral codes on ALL levels and habitats and sub cycls of emrgence are necessary.

And Zaadz is a COMPANY too. so the specific stage of Start up with aLL stakeholders is interesting for me. How is the revenue model shaped? What PLANS are on the table? Sponsoring, advertizing, investing etc. What approach for Investor relations? etc etc…

Have seen so many well intentioned “integral” and “Conscious” Projects. Mostly they lack the muscle of business intelligence. Very, very few are articulating profound CEO focus like John Mackay. And Steve Frazee rightly criticized -if things really were as Steve describes - the lack of a plan in I-I.

The AGLOCO  guys- however naive they maybe -do a good job and involve at least in their approach -the users. They make the flows of money in social networks transparent.

I would like to engage in any discussion/consideration where John Mackay as investor and Brian Johnson as CEO are participating.
