About Me:
I have been a student and facilitator of various forms of collective intelligence in most of my adult life, from the Movement in the 60s and the human potential groups in the 70s, to the first virtual communities in the 80s, the “organizational learning” movement and evolutionary emergence that started in the early and late 90s.
Today, my practice is to harvest the wisdom of each era and–transcending their limitations—make their gifts widely available, across cultures, continents and generations.
My focusing questions, as researcher and practitioner of
- social innovation
- business innovation
- knowledge innovation
- technology innovation
1. What are the new (individual and collective) capabilities that those innovations and their cross-impact awaken/strengthen in us?
2. How can individuals, organisations, and communities use those gifts for reaching their next level of well-being and performance?
In my day job, I am advising leaders leaders in international business, governments and NGOs,in matters of innovation, change, communities of practice, and personal development, and how all that may contribute to wiser organizations.
What I mean by “wiser”? Wisdom is practical and shows up in the capacity to sense, think, and act from the biggest context for the common good, which we can put our arms around.
In my spare time, I publish the Blog of Collective Intelligence. In the big gaps between entries, you can see that there is not much spare time, these days… ☺
